Dr. Ashutosh Kumar is a Senior Interventional Cardiologist & Electrophysiologist with 15 years of experience in Cardiology. He did his MBBS & MD from the Banaras Hindu University. He obtained his DM Cardiology from the Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Kolkata. He headed the Department of Cardiology at Narayana Medical College, Nellore. He did his fellowship at the National Heart Institute, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He did his observership in advanced electrophysiology procedures at the German Heart Center, Munich, Germany. Aurora Health Center, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, and Veteran General Hospital, Taiwan. He is one of the four Cardiac Electrophysiologists from India who has the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners {IBHRE, USA} which certifies for the Cardiac Device Specialist {CCDS}. He is also a certified Electrophysiology Specialist in Adult Cardiology {CEPS-AC}.
Dr. Ashutosh has been felicitated with fellowships from the world’s esteemed organizations: “The American College of Cardiology” FACC, “The European Society of Cardiology” FESC, “Heart Rhythm Society” as FHRS, and “Society of Cardiology Angiography and Intervention” as FSCAI. Dr. Ashutosh has been working as Clinical Director of Electrophysiology in-dept Cardiology at Care Hospital Hyderabad since May 2016.
The rapid growth in interventional cardiology and electrophysiology has saved a lot of lives during cardiac emergencies and improved the quality of life over the past two decades. The clinical and holistic approach to patient illness is being compromised by aggressive interventional cardiology. We, “Adityahrdayam Heart Clinic,” are committed to serving our patients during illness through our holistic approach and keeping interventional as needed. We believe in a “patient-centric” approach rather than a “cardiac-centric” approach, as our clinic’s name takes its root from the Ramayana, when Agastya Muni suddenly appeared at the war field at Lanka when Lord SriRama was a little tired with war and unable to defeat Ravana. He preached Aditya Hrudayam to Sri Rama and blessed him with “Vijayee Bhava”. Our aim is to build the confidence of the patient to fight his disease with the same “Vijayee Bhava” attitude through our clinical expertise. We strongly believe in ethos – वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् (Vasudhaiva Kuṭumbakam) (Sanskrit: वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम. from “vasudha”, the earth; “iva”, is; and “kutumbakam”, family) is a Sanskrit phrase that means that the whole world is one single family.
